Welcome to The Granville Affair, a boutique bed and breakfast located in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. By using our website and booking a stay with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. About Us
The Granville Affair is a boutique bed and breakfast that offers accommodations and hospitality services in Bridgetown, NS. Our website provides information about our rooms, amenities, and booking policies.

2. Booking Policy
Instant booking is available online and through third-party platforms such as Airbnb and MisterB&B.
Guests must be at least 19 years of age and provide valid identification.
Minimum stay: 1 night 
Same-day bookings may be accepted based on availability.

3. Payments & Cancellations
Payments may be processed directly (credit card, e-transfer) or via trusted third parties (Airbnb, MisterB&B, Stripe, PayPal).
A cleaning fee applies: $50 per room and $100 for the Pied-à-terre apartment.
Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. No partial refunds after that.
No exceptions are currently offered for weather or force majeure.

4. Guest Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
Follow all house rules, including quiet hours (9 PM–7 AM), no pets, no outside visitors, and responsible alcohol use.
Respect that smoking/vaping is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Accept liability for damages or missing items, which will be charged to the guest’s account.

Acknowledge that The Granville Affair is not responsible for lost belongings, personal injury, or accidents caused by guest negligence.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, logos, images, and design — is the property of The Granville Affair. Guests and visitors may not copy, reproduce, or use this material without prior written consent.

6. Liability Disclaimer
The Granville Affair strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment. However, we are not liable for:
Injuries, accidents, or losses resulting from guest negligence.
Interruptions caused by third-party services (such as internet or utilities).
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith. If necessary, disputes may be settled in the courts of Nova Scotia under applicable small claims or civil procedures.
